The German Red Cross (DRK) is the national Red Cross Society in Germany according to the Geneva Conventions and as such part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement with headquarters in Berlin. The DRK has more than three million members. The DRK is also one of the major welfare associations in Germany and is thus the umbrella organization of the Freie Wohlfahrtspflege. More @Wikipedia
